We are looking for a Mechatronics & Automation Engineer to join us on our mission to build the world's first autonomous factory for carbon fiber manufacturing.

Be part of a motivated engineering team to develop Holy's revolutionary manufacturing technology.
Design, build, and maintain the embedded and industrial automation systems that connect our shop floor - feeding systems, sensors, PLCs, robots and IoT devices.
Lead the electrical design and integration of new equipment into our production line.
Work closely with our advanced composite engineers to parametrise relevant data points from the manufacturing process.
Integrate and program industrial robots (e.g. KUKA, UR) and PLC/Profinet systems.
Ensure seamless, reliable operation of our production floor.
Follow your intellectual curiosity and learn about new markets and technologies together with your co-workers.
Create high tech solutions for exciting customer projects.
This position can develop into an expert, a generalist, or a team lead position and we will make sure that we sit together to discuss your development goals.
What we are looking for
You hold a degree in a relevant field (mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation, or similar) and have 1-2 years of working experience in solving similar problems.
You have a passion for mechatronics and hands-on experience with embedded systems (e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi), motor selection, and circuit design.
You have experience with industrial automation and OT, including PLC programming.
You are passionate about working on problems that have not been solved before and appreciate an agile working environment.
You like to build projects from a white piece of paper, taking ownership comes naturally to you.
You like collaborating with others to develop our product and are able to communicate with non-technical experts on technical topics.
You have an autonomous working attitude and the ability to simply get started.
PLUS: You have software development experience.
PLUS: You have experience with industrial robots (e.g. KUKA, UR robots) and Profinet/PLC integration.
