About the role
We are looking for a Senior System Safety Engineer with practical expertise in safety/mission critical embedded systems to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of next generation autonomous vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Develop Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) artefacts (Use case diagrams, structural diagrams and behavioral models) using Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
- Supporting gradual adoption of MBSE with partial modelling approach.
- Establishing and maintaining requirements traceability between models, requirements, and architecture.
- Contribute to requirement validation and alignment with system design
- Participate in System FMEA activities.
- Participate in technical discussion as part of business development efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years’ experience in system engineering, with a focus on automotive
- Knowledge of automotive vehicle systems, principally Body, Passive Safety and ADAS.
- Knowledge in autonomous vehicles and related architecture.
- Hands-on experience in MBSE methodology and associated tools (e.g. Rapsody, CatiaMagic, Entreprise Architecte …).
- Practice in system risk analysis (e.g. FMEA and FTA).
- Experience in technical consulting with abilities to drive small cross functional engineering team.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in close collaboration with the client.
- Open to frequent travel
